The d/0° measuring heads ( and -adapters) MA38 and MA80 illuminate the sample with a diffuse LED light source on an area of 38 mm or an 80 mm respectively. These versions are used to measure inhomogeneous samples such as granules, food, wood paints or others. The measuring head of our hand-held instrument is made of lightweight POM (Polyoxmethalene) and has an optional button to trigger the measurement. The online version, the MA38 probe head is made of stainless steel.
A stand to enable the measurement of samples in a cuvette is optionally available for hand-held instruments (see accessories).
